IS THE LAST DAY OF SA2! i bet everyone should be damn relax and happy because of the coming one-week break and ( PLAY TIME IS FINALLY HERE ). okay, i really feel suppeerrr happyyy cos i finally dont need to mug till midnight anymore. -im crapping now, cos i dont know what to write alr! =.='' -

im seriously really glad that we can finally organise a very well class outing :D
15th oct! Please wait at the Lakeside mrt station at 11am, and wait for jiemin before we can get into the clubhouse. Lunch will be provided! (its BBQ) Also we will be playing at the poolside, so do bring extra clothing, if u dont wanna get home wet (and dont complain to ur parents kay!) Pls bring! Cos we will be having alot of FUN. *blink blink* :D

Online Assignment: Study of Visual Arts on Surrealism (Final)

This is the last of the online assignment for Term 3. I am going to sum up your online learning on Surrealism so that, hopefully, all of you will gained a better understanding of this art movement. Trust me, this assignment will definitely help you greatly in your final assessment for Art.

This is going to be a very simple assignment and it will give a completion to this two-part online assignment. Read and follow the instructions carefully.

1. Search for a surrealist artwork and place it in this discussion forum page.
2. Name the artist and the year the artwork was created.
3. In just ONE sentence, describe what makes the chosen artwork belonging to the surrealism movement.

Some guiding questions:
a) Is there an object/subject that has been manipulated in the artwork?
b) Is the common object in the artwork being transformed into something that is unconventional?
c) Is the object that you see in the artwork being juxtaposed with another object to create an unconventional compositional setting?
